Ringing in the new year is symbolic of a fresh, new start. It begs the inevitable question: “What’s your new year’s resolution?”.
Whether you believe in resolutions or not, the new year is the perfect time to take a step back and take stock of your pharmacy. It’s easy sometimes to fall into routine and put off making necessary changes – but it’s never too late to turn things around.

Set it into motion by letting your team know the goal. Outline a plan together and take the first small step towards making it happen. It will bring your team closer together and the hard work will be worth it in the end.
Be realistic and set SMART goals that you will actually be able to track progress towards.
For example, instead of just saying “I want to get more patients on med sync” – make a more specific goal such as “I want to double the amount of patients we have on med sync by the end of the spring”.
