Auto Payment

Setting up automatic payments in your workflow helps to save the pharmacy time when processing orders and adds convenience for your returning customers. In your PioneerRx software, you can link auto payment to a patient’s profile through an A/R account or credit card. This default payment will automatically populate at the point-of-sale, including delivery or curbside pickup transactions. The patient’s card information will be hidden using tokenization for added security. 

Auto Payment is an especially important feature amid current COVID-19 circumstances. Having auto pay set up is safer for both the pharmacy staff and the patient. It decreases the amount of contact needed when a patient picks up a prescription and speeds up the transaction. A new notification has also been added in the system, so that the pharmacy is notified when a patient does not already have auto pay set up. This acts as a reminder to call and get payment information before the patient arrives to pick up their prescription.
